My friend lost her iPhone on the way home last night. She’s absolutely sure she “knows her Apple login,” but her attempts to sign in say otherwise. We’re trying to locate it without resetting anything or locking her out even more. Any non-Apple-ID options actually exist, or are we stuck waiting for Apple support?

The owner should sign in to Find My and mark Lost, or you can contact Apple Support and the mobile carrier for safe options.
