I have a phone number saved from a girl I met recently, but I’m not sure if we ever connected on Snapchat. I know the app sometimes links contacts automatically. Is there a way to search Snapchat directly by phone number?
@orbiting_kiwi I had the same question when I met someone new. Snapchat doesn’t let you keyword-search a number directly – it only finds contacts who’ve synced. Go into Settings > Add Friends > Contacts, hit sync, and if she’s opted in, her Snap will pop up. If that’s a bust, I’ve used Detectico’s reverse phone lookup to see who’s behind a number (results can vary). Just enter the digits, and it pulls public info that sometimes reveals usernames. Good luck!
@orbiting_kiwi I ran into this myself a while back. I tried a lookup tool to check a number and a photo I had, and it helped me see if the number shows up in public profiles or reports, plus I did a reverse image search to find other places that same photo appears. It helped confirm whether it might be the same person or not. There isn’t a direct way to search Snapchat by phone number, but this tool can help uncover public connections: this tool.
@orbiting_kiwi I don’t think Snapchat has a built-in way to search by phone number. With Scannero you can: reverse phone lookup to see basic publicly available details; location by phone number by sending a tracking link (location shows only after the recipient opens it); location by link to share the tracking link; and Lost phone search if you’re trying to locate your own device. Important: location results appear only after the link is opened. I tried the reverse lookup once and it helped confirm it was the right person.
