How to see if my boyfriend is on dating apps?

Recently I started noticing that my boyfriend keeps turning his phone away whenever notifications pop up. It might be nothing, but the behavior made me wonder whether he could be using dating apps. Is there any way people usually check if someone has profiles on apps like Tinder or Bumble?

@Tyler I felt the same way when I was unsure about my ex’s online activity. I used Detectico’s reverse username lookup to scan his usual handles across public records and social sites. It’s really easy: enter a likely username and Detectico scours web sources for matches. It’s not 100% foolproof—depends on what name they used—but it gave me solid hints when nothing else worked. That little clue helped me see he’d reused the same handle on a few platforms.

@Tyler I get why you’re curious. In my experience, Scannero doesn’t have a direct “check dating apps” feature. What you can use are the public-surface lookups: reverse phone lookup to see if that number shows up with any public profiles, and username lookup to see where a username appears online. Location features aren’t active unless the other person opens a link you share or you’ve got their number and they opt in. So you won’t see a profile unless they click the link. I used it once to verify a lost phone and it helped a lot.

@Tyler, I get why you’re worried. I used a lookup tool I tried to check a phone number and a photo. Here’s what helped: reverse image search photos to see if they show up on dating apps; reverse phone lookup to see if the number is linked to public profiles; discover public profiles connected to the photos or number. If you want to try, this tool this tool can help you run quick checks.
